This course is a fast-paced class designed for experienced QuarkXPress users that are now converting to Adobe InDesign CS3. To better benefit from this class, you should already understand page layout terminology, style sheets, master pages, and text formatting in QuarkXPress. Althought the concepts are the same, implentation is different and you will learn how to accomplish these tasks and more in Adobe InDesign. Production shortcuts are discussed and exercises are used extensively to reinforce the skills learned.

After completing this course you will be able to:
- Quickly navigate the InDesign’s desktop and your document
- Create new documents, defining the page sizes, columns and margins
