Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What time do classes begin?
    Training classes begin at 9:00 am and go until 4:30 pm. Please respect your fellow students and be on time. Classes are on weekdays. We do not offer night or weekend classes.
  2. When are the breaks during class?
    Lunch is not provided. We break for lunch at 12 noon and allow an hour for lunch. There is a morning and afternoon break as well. A refrigerator is available if you'd like to bring your lunch.
  3. When are the classes and how much do they cost?

  4. Do you provide training on both Mac and Windows platforms?
    Yes, we have Macintosh and Windows computers. When you register for a class, you can specify which platform you want to use during the training and we will set up that type of computer for you. Some classes, such as Adobe FrameMaker (Windows) or Apple Final Cut Pro (Macintosh), are only offered on a single platform.
  5. What should I bring to class?
    You may want to bring a notebook and pen. We will set up either a Macintosh or Windows workstation for your use. You will receive a workbook or training manual for you to take with you when you leave class. Please bring a flash drive if you want to take your class files.
  6. Where can a stay if I am coming from out-of-town?
    Many hotels are situated close to our facility. Please check the listings we provide to find one in your price range. Note that traffic in the Dallas area is very heavy in the mornings. If you are not staying in a nearby hotel, allow plenty of time to arrive to class on time.
  7. What do I wear to class?
    We are very casual - dress for comfort. Due to the variability of air conditioning, you may want to bring a light sweater.
  8. What is your cancellation policy?
    Life happens - no fees for rescheduling. There is a $100 administrative fee if we issue a credit card refund. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class should events occur beyond our control. If we cancel a class, your class payment will be refunded in full.
  9. What is your retake policy?
    You may retake a class at no cost (but you will not receive a book) up to six months after you take the paid class. This option is useful if you are unable to use an application for awhile and become rusty.
  10. What payment options do you offer?
    We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards. Approved companies may submit a Purchase Order or ACH transfer for payment. We will charge your card no later than the first day of class. Please note that there is no fee for rescheduling, but there is a nonrefundable administrative fee of $100 if you cancel and you request a credit card refund.
  11. Do you offer the Adobe Certified Expert tests?
    No. Training centers can not offer the Adobe Certification exams. Please go to the Adobe certification page and see what tests are available. You can schedule your testing at your local Pearson testing center.
  12. Do you only train at your facility?
    No, we can do private on-site training at your place as well. Please call for more information and pricing on on-site training.
Please refrain from wearing perfume or strong aftershave. Many students are allergic or sensitive to fragrances.
